Prior Approvals
Prior to the implementation of this attendance protocol,
students were permitted excused absences for reasons not
included on page one of this policy. This practice, known as
prior approval, will no longer be in effect. Items #6 and #7 of
the Excused Absences Section provide for the excuse of absences
due to emergencies and special events not covered in this
policy. Special event absences must be presented to and approved
by the school principal prior to the absence.
